Memory

Approaching the exhibition site as spectators would a story-telling environment or a memory space, into the subtle affection of being away from home. The installation features two projector, a camera, translucent screen layers and computer technologies, giveing the spectator a dual perspective with the pre-record and the live generative video.

Virtual memory and the physical world are intertwined here. The viewer can capture a portion of the video footage through props, and the captured image is re-imagined in real space as a virtual memory scene that arises and fades as the timeline rolls on. The entire process, including the original video, is a peice of memory, and the work itself is an interpretation of the existence and fading of memory.
